I vow to never celebrate myself in a dull, ordinary, unimaginative fashion. Winnie Shabazz, MA CWP
I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. I am a super daddy's girl and my mother is my best friend (and my Calligrapher!). I am a proud two-time alumna of the illustrious Bowie State University.
As a child, I was a dancer and traveling volleyball player. Playing a team sport helped me embrace a culture of "collaboration over competition". Being an athlete unveiled the power of working in a "team" - hence the emphasis on teamwork in the packages that I offer. I am a fearless, optimistic leader with a magnetic personality who loves to smile. I simply do not wait for something to be happy about; instead, I find something to be happy about. My gift is bringing people together and keeping them together.
Weddings are my 'happy place'. I discovered my interest in DIY projects and event planning after becoming a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated in 2008. I love personalized gifts, elaborate themes, and anything that sparkles! Planning non-traditional milestone celebrations are exciting. Afterall, the time to celebrate is always now!

The Jewel Package is for a winning couple or winning client who prefers to handle most of the planning, but desires a professional to cover the logistics and intricate details the day of the event. Commonly referred to as Day Of Coordinators, The #WinningTeam will gladly step in and substitute for the couple that needs someone to assist with 'jumping the broom' and carrying the celebration over the finish line!
Gem Package
8-10 Months Prior to the Win!
The Gem Package is designed for a winning couple or winning client who would like to work on a "Dream Team" with a professional planner. We will collaborate to make sure every detail is included and that everything the couple desires comes to fruition. The #WinningTeam understands that "teamwork makes the dream work" ... Dream Wedding that is!
Treasure Package
12-14 Months Prior to the Win!
The Treasure Package is the perfect package for a winning couple or winning client that wants to "sit on the bench" during the planning process. All of the planning is passed to a Certified Wedding Planner who will gracefully and thoroughly use their expertise to fulfill all of the planning needs from start to finish. The couple articulates their vision and the planner brings it to a physical manifestation. This package allows the couple to win from the bench. How awesome is that?
